French Exchange Part 15 Final

When it was time to go, we brought our bags in the hallway and had breakfast. We made sure we had all of our documents together and went straight to the airport. After arriving there, we did a check up and placed our bags upon the conveyor belt. We were soon checked in and more organized than last time. We all walked as a group with less than an hour to spare. Some of us were sitting down while others were in the store looking at stuff. We did not look too long since the plane was about to go. We all got in line and got onboard the jumbo. It took us around 8 hours to arrive to Dallas. By the time the plane touched ground, we knew we were back in the United States. Entering in, we took our belongings and headed to the TSA checking. This area was different. We all passed through and immediately went to our next plane flight.

We had about 2 hours to spare this time. As usual some went and explored the area, I decided to explore at the last hour which was a bad mistake since in the end I was rushing to the terminal. Everyone was ready to go. We were now 3 hours away from home and were eager to be back. The plane took off only lasting around 3 hours until we touched ground here in Albuquerque. We got off the plane with our items and headed straight to the exits of the terminal. From a distance we could see our parents waiting for us. My parents had their cameras and the video out. One by one we got back with our parents. I was one of the last ones to leave out and I was able to see my parents on the other side of the door. I was greeted by my father, mother, my brother and his wife. I grabbed my bag and headed back home. I was finally back home.

In the end, the French exchange was the most entertaining and unique experience that I have had. I have visited numerous locations around France, saw and embraced their culture, spoke the language, visited lots of fun sights and had a blast. Even though this has happened two years ago, this will forever be engraved in my memory and would love to go back and explore more of France. This was truly a unique experience that I will never forget.
