On April 12th, Netflix released a new romantic comedy called “The Perfect Date.” “The Perfect Date” stars Noah Centineo and Laura Marano and is about a high school student, Brooks, that creates an app where he goes on fake dates with people to make money so he can go to college.  Brooks ends up falling for someone and his plan starts to get complicated. If you like movies like “To All the Boys I Loved Before” or “Sierra Burgess is a Loser” then I would recommend this movie for you. I would rate this movie 8/10 stars because overall it was a good movie with a good message but it is kind of like every other movie in this genre. If you are looking for a light, new movie to watch I would recommend this one.
